Andrea is a highly experienced speech and language pathologist who has worked with children across a range of settings since graduating with a  Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from Flinders University in 1989.

Since 2011, she has worked in private practice supporting children with a variety of speech and language difficulties to achieve their potential.

Working in school settings has provided Andrea with valuable insight into education systems and practices. She has a realistic understanding of how classrooms function and a willingness to work alongside classroom teachers to ensure optimal support for children and families.

In her practice Andrea assesses and treats a range of speech and language disorders and specializes in working with children who have literacy development difficulties including reading, spelling, written expression and reading comprehension. Andrea is trained in the Playberry Dyslexia Program which is a structured, multi-sensory phonics program based on the Orton-Gillingham approach, which is considered the gold standard in the management of dyslexia.
