I would be delighted to provide an educational assessment for you or your child. The ‘About Me’ section describes the educational issues I can assist with.
To arrange a booking, please contact me by email. Please include details of the reason for wanting an assessment, client name and date of birth, your name, mobile number, and postal address.
I will not always be able to reply to your email the same day, but all assessment requests are handled in the order in which they are received.
Currently I am booked around 6 months ahead. Occasionally cancellations occur and these are then offered to clients who are already booked into a time slot.

Business Hours
Assessments are generally booked in the morning from 9:30am to 12:30pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
If you wish to have an afternoon appointment or are only available on a Monday or Tuesday, just let me know and this can be arranged.
Fees
Assessment fees must be paid in full on the day of the appointment. HICAPS and EFTPOS facilities are available. I accept Mental Health Care Plans provided that you bring the plan and referral letter with you.
A full assessment costs $1800 and involves a cognitive test, academic tests, and any rating scales (eg. for ADHD).
A review assessment costs $750 and is for clients who have previously had a full assessment and want a progress review and updated recommendations. This does not include the full cognitive test, only components of it (eg. memory).
A uni review costs $350 and is only for clients who need updated documentation for university in order to obtain adjustments (eg. extra time, rest breaks in exams, etc).
About Me
I have been working in private practice at Fullarton House since 2005. The focus of my practice is on educational issues for students and adults.
- I offer diagnosis of specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia.
- I provide learning and support strategies for home, school and work to enable people with reading, spelling, writing or maths difficulties to be successful.
- I offer diagnosis and educational advice to parents of children with ADHD. For emotional or behavioural support, I recommend seeing a clinical child psychologist.
- I identify students with high intellectual or academic potential, sometimes called ‘gifted’ students, using the WPPSI-IV or WISC-V cognitive tests. I provide recommendations on curriculum differentiation and other supportive strategies at school and home
I am not able to provide assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder.
